Full-figure, standing. He is leaning against a rock with his left elbow while holding his top hat in his right hand at his side. At the left is a tomb stone with the name "Washington" on it. Rectangle with double line border 4/16.
This lithograph represents Lafayette's visit to the grave of his friend George Washington during his return visit to America in 1824-25.
