Anderson House was the Washington residence of Larz Anderson III and his wife, Isabel Weld Perkins. Their beaux-arts mansion was built between 1902 and 1905 by the architectural firm of Little & Browne, Boston. Its furnishings include art work and artifacts collected during the Andersons' extensive world travels and diplomatic assignments. Mounted on large boards, numbered on verso in unidentified hand, possibly that of the collector from whom the portfolios were purchased. Gaps in numbering; see case file for particulars.
