Signed: A friend to the military, July 16th, 1808. A campaign endorsement for Gen. Charles Scott in his first run for the office of governor of Kentucky. Scott had moved to Woodford Co., Kentucky in 1787 and had participated in several of the border conflict including the Fallen Timbers campaign in 1794. This broadside urges support for the ongoing efforts to secure funding for pensions for revolutionary veterans and as well as for Scott's political campaign.
