Addressed on the reverse in ms. to "The President of the Society of the Cincinnati of the State of South Carolina" with "25" in red ink & "N York Sept 20" stamp. Includes the printed letter dated "New-York, Sept. 1792" from the officers of the late army residing in New York giving an account of a meeting held and resolutions passed to be presented to the Congress and signed by 9 officers including Governor George Clinton.
