"[i]n pursuance ... of the Acts of Parliament .... for the more effectual transportation of felons & convicts out of Great Britain into his Majesty's plantations in America ..." from 1 Jan. 1765, "being the day of the ship New Success's arrival in Virginia."
On verso are 2 assigns: the first signed by John Briggs, transfering indenture to Capt. Abraham Bird, 5 March 1765; the second to Jacob Crisman signed 6 March 1765 by Bird.
