Players proceed in a spiral from the starting point ("Playing Soldier") through the Stamp Act, Boston Tea Party, Battle of Bunker Hill, etc. to the surrender of Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown and Washington resigning his commission. Although we have not been able to locate the original playing instructions, it is clear there are bonuses and setbacks along the way--with spots marked with terms like "Humanity" (showing a nurse tending to a wounded soldier) or "Deserter" and "Whipping Post." The winner is the first to arrive at "The Land of Freedom & Plenty" in the center of the board.
