Rare copy of a Spanish version of Peale's 1778 mezzotint, "His Excellency Gen Washington," which was the first authentic likeness of Washington to appear in print. Probably relating to copies of the original Peale print that were acquired by Don Juan de Mirallis, a Spanish agent in America during the revolutionary war.
