Full bust, to the right, in uniform. In rectangle with names of artists and engraver below, with title and facsimile signature below that, and name of printer to the right below signature. The copy marked 'Printed by H. Quig" is an illustration from Herring and Longacre, The national portrait gallery of distinguished Americans, Vol. III. It carries accession number P&E L1992.899 and is from the Byron Metcalf Collection. A second copy was accessioned P&E L1992.900 but the name of the printer is missing. The third copy, without the name of the printer, is hand colored and was accessioned as P&E L1994.901 The fourth copy has been cropped to just include the portrait, the names of the artists and engraver, and the printed title. The fifth copy is numbered P&E L2005G40.278m and is from the Joshua Danforth Bush, Jr. Collection. The names of the artists are part of a single line border, 1/16. This copy also is without the name on the printer. Major General Arthur St. Clair was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati from the state of Pennsylvania. 5 copies
