Note
A satirical drawing of a full size "Macaroni-like" officer, in uniform, wearing a hat, facing right, smoking a cigarette in a cigarette holder in his right hand, but with his left arm hanging to his side missing the left hand. The Darley's were well known producers of satirical work in England during the revolutionary war.
This is an illustratration from an unknown book. In the upper left corner of the print appears "V.1" ; and in the upper right corner appears "20".
