Includes charges dating from September 1775, for "notifieing & setting of the Comm[itt]ee"; for "expences to Plimouth, WaterTown and Newport", for " my time & trouble" and for the hire "of a chaise on the above" for a total of 11 pounds, 8 shillings, and 2 pence.

At bottom: Rec.d Boston 17th Oct. 1786 the above contents in full by the hands of Wm. Erving Esqr. / S. & W, Vernon
Samuel and William Vernon were the owners of a number of vessels active in commerce during the American Revolution.
