Shows lower Chesabeake Bay, along the James River & York River; positions of armies and the French fleet, demonstrating the bleak situation the British faced, trapped by the Americans and French at York and Gloucester on the York River while the formidable force of the French fleet blocked the opening to the Chesapeake Bay.
